Bag Drop#2 – Trent Green Golf Tournament for Ronald McDonald House

Helping the Ronald McDonald House * Golf * Local Celebrities * Food Provided *

This is a great excuse to skip work to volunteer at the annual Trent Green “celebrity” Golf Classic which raises in excess of $200K to directly benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities Kansas City.  YES!  Trent Green, along with many former and current Chiefs players, Sporting KC Players and Royals players (if they are in town), KU players and often Bill Self, will be in attendance.  Keep your eyes peeled for other local (and not local) celebrities.

Serve KC will tag and hold golf bags for participants while they check in. This may require minor heavy lifting or moving of golf clubs.  Children 13+ are welcome to assist at this event.

As a volunteer, soda/coffee/water and meals are provided during your shift along with an event volunteer T-shirt.

***Attire:  please wear golf attire or khaki pants, shorts or skirts, and comfortable shoes for walking. Denim (blue jeans) are not allowed on the golf course.  We will be outside so dress for the weather, bring a light jacket, sweatshirt or rain gear if necessary along with sunscreen and a hat.  This event will go on rain or shine, as long as it is safe for the golfers.

***Please leave all valuables and personal belongings locked in your car, there is no-where to leave them during the event.

Serve KC is working 2 bag-drop shifts 6:15 – 8:30 am AND 11:30 am – 2:00 pm.  If you wish to work both shifts, please sign-up for each event.
