Plant Pollinator Gardens for Bees @ Union Station

Help save some bees! Union Station and Science City are planting 5 new Pollinator Gardens with flowers that provide pollen for a wide range of pollinating insects. Only basic gardening skills are necessary. We’ll work from 9am-Noon, but you are welcome to stay longer or until the gardens are all done.

Volunteers will help carrying plants and organizing them in each garden, raking, shoveling, and transplanting. Tools will be provided, but you may want to bring garden gloves if you have them and any gardening tools you prefer to use.

MEET behind Union Station, this MAP has a red X on the exact spot we are meeting. It’s along the pathway between the Post Office and West Yards Garage. My cell is 816-582-7857 (Selena) if you have trouble finding us just call me.

FREE Parking & admission to Science City for the day! Park in the West Yard Parking Garage and take the white ticket. Volunteers will be given a blue voucher to insert as payment when you leave.

There will be water coolers light refreshments and music provided.
