Crafts for a Cause — Corsages & Boutonnieres

We’re looking for some creative volunteers to get crafty and make beautiful corsages & boutonnieres for the Down Syndrome Guild of Greater Kansas City and their annual prom. This years theme is Night in Hollywood  so we want to glam it up.  Volunteer please comment with the supplies you can bring to share for 50+ matching corsage & boutonniere pairs. See samples or check out our Pinterest Board to get inspired.

SUPPLIES NEEDED:

10 Flowers  (bring matching sets for the corsage & boutonniere)

Selena, Martine, Trina, Jacob Wright, Cindy  6. ___________

Ribbon  (satin, sheer or other nice fabric ribbon)

Adornments (small flowers, tulle, gems, feathers, pearls, buttons, rhinestones, old jewelry, etc.)

Kids are welcome to attend, but ask that young ones assist with the craft and not work on their own. 

The Down Syndrome Guild PROM will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at the Overland Park Convention Center.  Individuals with Down syndrome or other developmental disabilities who are 15+ years of age are invited to attend for a fabulous evening of dinner, dancing and being transported to Hollywood!
