Carving Jack O-Lanterns at Powell Gardens

GLOW Jack-O-Lantern Festival is a spellbinding Halloween experience at Powell Gardens. More than 750 hand-carved Jack-O-Lanterns will light a flickering path through the Gardens with vignettes exploring this year’s theme, “Nature’s Nightmares.”

Volunteers are needed to carve Jack-O-Lanterns –RSVPs are needed so we can plan space and tools for everyone. Feel free to invite your friends!

Volunteers must be 16 years old and up.  Wear closed toe, non-skid shoes and clothes that can get messy.

FRIDAY, OCT 16 5:00 – 8:00 PM

If you want to come earlier we will be carving 8:00 am -8:00 pm – just let me know what times you’ll be there. Thanks.

We have all tools and patterns. Wear closed toe, no-skid shoes and clothes that can get messy.

Volunteers will get a FREE pass to come back to the Festival on Oct 17 or 18.
