Put your creative DIY skills to use! On October 13th, 2017, Goodwill of Western Missouri and Eastern Kansas is hosting its first annual Goodwill Haunting fundraiser at The Brass on Baltimore. This isn’t your typical Halloween party. Guests will enjoy a night of Hollywood Horror with food, drink, live music, and dancing, and we need you to complete the look! You will help create the decorations for our fundraising event, where all proceeds benefit our mission of empowering job seekers to earn and keep employment.

Specifically, you’ll do things like:  Trace and cut shapes out of cardboard; clean and spray paint various items, including skulls, bottles, display shelves, and frames; perform a tea treatment on paper and books; glue items together; and share additional design ideas or DIY skills.

• Park: On the street in front of the building, or in either lot on the sides.

• Wear: Something comfortable that can get dirty.

• Bring: Nothing! Goodwill will have all necessary supplies.

• Dinner: Yes, we’re providing it!

• Age: Volunteers must be at least 16 years old.
